Murray Wiseman

Murray Wiseman is a chartered professional accountant who has been practising in Victoria for more than thirty years, and commenced public practice as a partner in 1984. Murray has extensive experience in the areas of accounting and assurance, all levels of taxation, business consulting, and investigative and forensic accounting. Murray is a member of the Chartered Professional Accountants of Canada, the Chartered Professional Accountants of British Columbia and the Alliance for Excellence in Investigative and Forensic Accounting

Chris Mills

Chris Mills is a chartered professional accountant who has completed the Canadian Institute of Chartered Accountants’ In-depth Tax Course. Chris has worked with the firm since 2006 and is responsible for clients in all areas of the practice. Chris’ experience has focused primarily on accounting and assurance with both for-profit and not-for-profit clients, taxation and estate planning, and investigative and forensic accounting. Chris is a member of: the Chartered Professional Accountants of Canada, the Chartered Professional Accountants of British Columbia, and the Canadian Tax Foundation.

Christopher Smith

Christopher is a chartered professional accountant with sixteen years public practice experience, as well as experience in private industry and the public sector. His focus is on providing accounting, assurance and tax services to owner-managed business and not-for-profit organizations, as well as forensic accounting services. He is a member of both the Chartered Professional Accountants of BC and Alberta.

Matthew Ponsioen

Matthew is a chartered professional accountant, having earned his designation in 1997. He joined Wiseman & Mills in 2019 as a Manager. His work focuses primarily on providing accounting, taxation and assurance services to owner-managed businesses.

Hazel Agar

Hazel Agar has worked with Murray for over twenty years. She obtained her Advanced Certificate in Accounting from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of British Columbia in 1999. Hazel has extensive experience in accounting, taxation and assurance services. In addition, Hazel is able to help our clients with bookkeeping and payroll, including software support for Simply Accounting for Windows.

Evan Godo

Evan graduated from Camosun College’s Bachelor of Business Administration, Accounting Degree program in 2021, joined Wiseman & Mills in November 2021 and successfully obtained his CPA designation in 2024. He is currently enrolled in the Chartered Professional Accountant’s In-Depth Tax Program. Evan’s breadth of experience includes personal tax, corporate accounting and tax, not-for-profit accounting, as well as assurance and audit.

Mohit Arora

Mohit Arora

Mohit obtained his Chartered Accountant (India) designation in 2021 and is currently working towards completing the Chartered Professional Accountant (Canada) designation. His experience includes full cycle accounting, tax and corporate engagements, audits and review engagements for both profit-oriented and non-profit organizations.
